Reservations
A non-refundable deposit of $1200 per person, within 7 days of booking is required to make a firm reservation. Balance of payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 90 days of travel require full payment.
Passports and Visas
All participants in foreign tours require a valid passport and in most cases an entrance visa. We will gladly assist you in obtaining a required visa at additional cost. We will not be responsible for the refusal of any visa to an individual by a consulate. In the event that visa refusal causes late cancellation, cancellation fees will apply.
Insurance
We strongly recommend the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance covering accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation.
Price Changes
Voyage prices are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at time of printing. Changes in tariffs, exchange rates, and costs of fuel, oils, labor and materials sometimes alter the cost of tour arrangements substantially, and we reserve the right to alter our prices accordingly. Tour price does not include airport taxes and excess baggage charges.
Airfares
Airfares quoted are those in effect at the time and are subject to change. We will issue air tickets in conjunction with these tours subject to availability. Tickets must be issued and paid for at least 30 days prior to departure and are nonrefundable after issuance.
Unused Arrangements
No refunds are made for any features or service that you do not take. If you cancel while the tour is in progress, there will be no refund for the portion you do not take. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance, which is available.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing and the following fees will be assessed:
• Full refund will be made less the deposit if cancellation is received
90 or more days prior to departure.
• An additional fee of 20% per person will be assessed if cancellation
is received between 60 and 89 days prior to departure
• For cancellations received between 30 and 59 days prior to departure,
an additional 50% of the total land/cruise price will be charged
• No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than 30 days
prior to departure
• No refunds are allowed for any unused portion of the tour
• We reserve the right to change any tour when the situation warrants
Late Bookings
A late booking fee of $50 per person will apply to bookings received within 30 days prior to departure date of the tour.
Deviations
Itinerary & Equipment Changes
We reserve the right without prior notice to change or substitute the itineraries, routing sequences, tours and equipment mentioned. Every effort will be made to adhere to the itinerary as stated; however, due to changes beyond our tour operator’s control, some change of sequence or substitutions may be necessary.
Baggage
Many airlines differ and domestic flights, when required, may be much more restricted in baggage allowances. Check with your carrier in advance if you have any question.
Responsibility
Russian Romance and Love Span act only as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodations and other services pertaining to the tour. All exchange orders, coupons, vouchers and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodation and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such documentation shall be deemed to be consent to further condition that: Russian Romance and Love Span, or their agent shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in any vehicle or through the act of default of any company, or person engaged in conveying the passengers or of any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant or of any other person otherwise in connection therewith.
Russian Romance and Love Span or their agent cannot accept any responsibilities for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for arrangements only to the time slated. The purchase of travel and accident insurance is recommended. Each exchange order, coupon, voucher and ticket is to be regarded as one contracted by or accept or retain any person as a member of the tour to the whole or any part of the tour should it be deemed advisable for any reason.
The transportation companies are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard their carriers or conveyance. The passenger contract issued by the transportation companies shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies and the purchaser of this tour and/or passage. The payment for reservations on this tour shall constitute consent to all provisions in the General Conditions published therein.
All statements and information given in our brochures and sales materials are, to the best of our knowledge and belief, correct at the time of going to press; the facts and descriptions given herein have in the majority of cases been supplied by other parties, and we accept no responsibility whatsoever for any error or misdescription contained therein.
